Lecturer suspected of NAC by passive corruption
23.08.2013 2975 ViewsA lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology and Social Assistance at the “A. Russo” University of Balti was arrested by officers of NAC on suspicion of passive corruption.
According to preliminary information, the teacher would have asked Euro100 from a student for supporting the successful pass of the exam at "History of Psychology".
Thus, a criminal case was started under article vitals. 324 paragraph (2) letters b) and c) - passive corruption.Lecturer was arrested in flagrante delicto, after receiving the money extorted today, at 1:00 PM, after the special investigative measures.
The man was recognized as a suspect and was detained for 72 hours.
Crimina lprosecution is conducted by anticorruption prosecutors.
