Young people from Moldova and Ukraine, together against corruption
04.08.2014 3171 ViewsThe 9th edition of the Summer School "Youth against Corruption" was launched today at Vadul lui Voda, Moldova.
24 students of various institutions of higher education from the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine will compete in formulating solutions for preventing and combating corruption at national and international level, for a week, from 4 to 10 of August.
The most active and creative participants will be rewarded at the end of school.
Both young people from Moldova and Ukraine were selected based on several criteria such as proficiency in foreign languages (Russian, English), academic performance, participation in other training courses, extracurricular activities, communicability.
Organized with the support EUBAM, the Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the National Anti-Corruption Centre, Summer School "Youth against Corruption" aims at raising young generation’s intolerance towards corruption and awareness of the role of every citizen in denouncing corruption and joining efforts of law enforcement and civil society.
