Three officers from the Independent Commission against Corruption from Hong Kong came to the National Anticorruption Center in a study visit and an exhange of experience.
They will have meetings for two days with the representatives of the NAC subdivisions, where they will discuss their attributions and competences, the legal framework, the conditions of employment in the Center, as well as the professional development of the employees.
The NAC Director, Mr. Bogdan Zumbreanu made a short presentation of the institution in which he referred to the attributions, rights and organizationalchart of the NAC. At the same time, together with the guests, he went to the NAC Grade Unit, the criminal investigation isolator andhas showed the equipment and working conditions of the escort team and special interventions.
Today, during all the day, the delegation from Independent Commission against Corruption from Hong Kong is going to make a presentation of their institution with the regard combating, preventing and anticorruption education activities.
According to official data, the Hong Kong Independent Commission against Corruption employs over a thousand people, and most of the complaints made against the Commissionare related to corruption committed in the private sector, followed by state executive bodies and other public law bodies.
