NAC and AP details regarding the procedure for examining the electoral lists, raised in the case of voter corruption and the illegal financing of a political formation

Currently, at the headquarters of the National Anticorruption Center, the procedure for unsealing and examination of the envelopes with the electoral lists is taking place in the presence of three members of the Gagauzia CEC, including the head of the Commission, and the CEC lawyer. Also, the NAC provided the CEC members with an interpreter to ensure translation into Russian.

Copies of these lists are made, and after the end of the procedure all the envelopes with the sealed lists will be returned to the Comrat Court of Appeal.

The process of unsealing the envelopes was documented, with the subsequent attachment of images to the case. At this stage, none of the participants had any objections to the process.

The actions carried out by the NAC, under the direction of the Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office, do not affect, at the present moment, in any way the judicial process of validating the elections.
