The anti-corruption officers trained, this week, about 900 people in Taraclia and Cantemir districts

About 900 people were trained by the Anticorruption Education Directorate of the NAC in Taraclia and Cantemir districts, this week, in several information and awareness-raising campaigns.

Thus, the NAC together with the Ministry of Education and Research organized information sessions for the leaders of educational institutions within the "Integrity: Credibility in the Educational System" campaign. On the medicine component, in partnership with the Ministry of Health and the HOMECARE Association, the "Integrity for Health" campaign was carried out, aimed at family doctors and nurses. Also, the NAC continued the "Rail Integrity" campaign, carried out with the state enterprise "Railroad of Moldova" ÎS for its employees.

Anti-corruption training was also held for officials from the State Fiscal Service in Taraclia. At the request of the Training Center of the Customs Service, training activities were provided for the customs collaborators and the Training Center of the National Penitentiary Administration. The anti-corruption education activities continued with the young people from the Ion Creangă State Pedagogical University and the Commercial Cooperative University of Moldova by conducting the Pro-Integrity Quiz.

During the meetings, the anti-corruption officers talk to the audience about the measures to ensure institutional and professional integrity, the responsibilities of managers in order to apply integrity rigors and the liability for lack of integrity. We remind, that the purpose of the activities carried out by the NAC officers on the corruption prevention component are oriented towards cultivating and strengthening the climate of institutional integrity, by promoting anti-corruption and integrity policies.
